What do I need to put a car in my name?

A properly released title or a notarized Release of Interest/Affidavit of Loss, a bill of sale, and the proper fees. Additional paperwork may be required. To determine fees or if you are transferring from another state please contact us.
What are your hours?

We are open Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm. We will be closed most major holidays.
Can someone pick up my tabs for me?

Yes. You must have the same last name or address on your government-issued ID as the owner on the record *or* provide a signed permission note from the owner. Note must include the vehicle identification number and specify who can renew.
How many days do I have to put a new vehicle in my name?

You have 15 calendar days from the date of purchase to transfer the title before penalty fees begin to accrue. On the 16th calendar day, it is $50. After that, it is $2 each day and maxes out at $125.
Can I receive a vehicle as a gift?

Yes. Please contact our office.
When do my boat tabs expire?

All vessel registration expires on June 30th of each year. Snowmobiles expire in June 30th.
